San Jose 48 Hour Film Project - August 13, 2007

Another 48 hours, another film - It Donned On Me wrapped production this weekend on our second 48 Hour Film Project, this time for the 2007 San Jose competition. The result of another weekend of little sleep and too much sugar is "Doggie Style". Enjoy!

Visa "Life Takes" Invitational - July 28, 2007

Though we didn't win anything in the main 48 Hour Film Project, team 'It Donned On Me' was selected for the Visa 'Life Takes' Invitational contest! This competition ran parallel to the main competition, and Visa selected a total of 10 teams - the winner, runner up, plus 8 others - to participate in a second, national competition in September. In addition to the 10 teams from San Francisco Visa will be selecting 10 teams each from the Los Angeles and New York competitions and all 30 teams will complete another 48 hour film based on the 'Life Takes...' theme.

Ten finalists will be selected and screened at the end of September here in San Francisco, and the first place team will win $10,000 while second and third will recieve $5000 and $2500 respectively. As you can imagine the team is pretty fired up about this and confident we can do well.

Of course, what does any kind of team do when faced with a big upcoming competition? PRACTICE! We've signed up for the San Jose 48 Hour Film Project which starts on August 10th - just two weeks from now. This will give us a chance to hone our skills in preparation for the Visa competition - so be sure to check back in a couple of weeks for details on the new film!
